Ninja Sword - Black Wooden Bokken
Ninja Sword - Black Wooden Bokken

Sword #1

It is always good to start with a wooden sword and you can do that with the Black Ninja Wooden Bokken. In order to practice the art of ninjitsu and wielding the sword you should begin with either a wooden bokken or a very dull ninja sword.

Description:
The Bokken resembles the length of a sword so that when it comes into contact with an opponent or yourself it does not cut. It may sting you or your opponent but at least you will not be cut. The Bokken is usually constructed from very hardwood and is either natural color or black depending on your taste. Some like the picture have a black lacquer finish and a large square finger guard (tsuba). Great for beginning thru advanced ninjitsu bokken training.

Background on the Bokken:
A bokken is used as an inexpensive and relatively safe substitute for a real sword, in training for several martial arts. Bokkens are also used in the Nihon kendo kata, a form of training to develop technically correct movements. Historically, the bokken is as old as Japanese swords, and were used for the training of warriors

Ninja Sword - Stainless Steel
Ninja Sword - Stainless Steel

Sword #2

The next type of sword looks great but IS NOT supposed to be used. The sword made from stainless steel is a sword ONLY for looking at and should never be used for contact of any kind. Sword constructed with Stainless Steel are great looking sword and give a very nice reflection from the blade. They can also be made to be extremely sharp, but given that the stainless steel is very rigid this sword can be 'shattered' if it is hit against anything hard.

Description:
Combining the legend of the Dragon and Ninja this sword is brought together as an authentic reproduction Ninja sword.  Made from the finest materials, the blade is constructed of a metal alloy and measures an elegant 34 inches long which is long in regards to ninja swords. The unique dragon design on the blade spans over half the length of the blade and is intricately etched into the blade showing off the fine detailing. The engraved blood groove further enhances the beauty of this sword. This beautiful ninja sword includes a black lacquer wooden scabbard. A must have for all collectors and dragon enthusiasts. This sword is made in Japan.

Ninja Sword: Functional
Ninja Sword: Functional

Sword #3

The third type of sword is the hand crafted high carbon sword which is a fully functional sword.  This sword can be used in practice combat and will take a hit and keep it shape unlike its 'stainless steel' counterpart.  **As always these are not toys and should not be used with the care and supervision of a sword instructor or expert.

Description:
This is the traditional sword of the mysterious ninja warriors of the dark. This ninja sword features a straight 28-inch high-carbon steel blade that is tempered and capable of hard use. With its distinctive square tsuba and full tang construction this is exactly the kind of weapon that a ninja would have appreciated.  This beautiful scabbard is also included.
